You know even after it makes landfall it won't weaken too quickly since it'll be over the Everglades for a while.

I'm finding it harder and harder to believe this storm is only 60 mph...

She seems to be a light cat 1 at my house. channel 12 is saying that Fay will pass about 60 miles west of lake O around 8am...wow, she amazes me yet again...

I'll bet anyone that we're getting as much, if not more, rain from Fay then we did Frances. It has been pouring...I mean pouring for about 2 hours now...I figure at least 6"-7" today so far.

You guys are getting the majority of the outflow up there. I'm much closer to the storm and yet I'm getting almost nothin'.

Not likely...but I can tell you that she will be used as a great model for all young weathercasters out there. I have never seen a storm do what she has...close, but no Fay.

Way too early to say. IF we see Allison like damage from this stationary setup then okay but right now I have to say no. But she still has another chance (or maybe TWO more) it seems with the way these models are panning out.

when you look at the eye spinning around, it looks like its gonna pull a Wilma..I won't be surprised if we get the eye here in Welligton.

Subject to change if it makes landfall in Georgia or South Carloina as a cateogory 3 hurricane :double: .

Again, not an offical prediction or forecast by any means, lol.

lol, no doubt. There's still a lot of uncertainty though and it can change back to an inland track. The history of Fay would argue for that.

Yes, we did in Frances, but Frances started at 10Am and finished about 2 the next day..like 26 hours of pure hell...

Fay seems to have dumped at least 1/2 that amount in about 6 hours

typing really bad...sorry
