People would click on this exclamation mark and would write there reasoning for why it is a bad post and etc. Then a pm would be sent to the mods and admins of the board, quickly alerting them to the problem,
This would solve a problem say for example, Cycloneye has an emergency and has to go to somewhere away from the board. However, during this time, a troll enters the Tropics forum and post a trolling thread. Now an honest member, say HURAKAN, pms cycloneye and tells him about the thread. But since cycloneye is gone, no action is taken for quite a while.
However, it is a totally diffrent story with the report a post button, it allows someone to alert all the mods and admins immediately of an offense against the board.
It has worked magic at another message board I frequent and the mods and admins there just love it. And so do the posters. Saves them time from having to pm every admin or mod to get something done.
