Well, crap . . . I access S2k from about four devices and thought I'd verified the same issue on two of them, but maybe I'm senile. As it stands right now I'm only able to verify the issue on one device, making it more likely a device-specific issue rather than a forum problem.

I'm now posting from Device 4 and all is well. Earlier I was posting from Device 1 where I see the problem, and I thought I'd seen it on Device 2 originally but it's currently dead and I cannot verify. Device 3 shows fine.

Even assuming Device 2 shows dashes when it's available again, that wouldn't seem to support a forum issue anyway, so I'll check further on my end. I know a good tech support lady not far from 34th and Pine named Madame Ruth. Don't let the gold tooth fool you . . . she's able to knock out issues that have existed since 1--56.

That's a strange one. Some kind of filter on one of your devices. Maybe it thinks it's a password or something.

My current hypothesis involves the installation of my somewhat excessive collection of fonts on Device 1 a couple of weeks ago. I may have overwritten a Win10 font somehow with an older version or otherwise caused a glitch with font rendering. I'll check the HTML for the font or family and see which one might be affected, or just copy the original Win10 lot from Device 4 over and call it a day.
