Hey everybody,
I've noticed (especially while on Mike's show) that my mic has a lot of static in it. It is a brand new Logitech headphone and mic combo. Can anybody help me resolve the problem of the background static? I've tried everything, but maybe I am missing something. I would appreciate any help you all can give me. Thanks.
Jason

Hi Jayson! Let me know when you can be in Teamspeak or catch me there durring the evenings..
First it needs to work in Windows properly.
Click on Start > Programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Sound Recorder. You can record and test the volume etc and make sure it works ok before bothering with Teamspeak.
If it sounds good in Windows then try different codecs in the input/out sounds setting pannel. Push to talk is selected and a key like Ctrl is a common choice.

Thanks for responding Paul.
I get the same background noise in Windows as well. It's a brand new mic, so I am not sure what is going on. I was just concerned it was a distraction on the show, but after hearing it again I guess it's not too bad.
I have been on evening shifts all week, so I have not been able to meet you in Teamspeak. If nobody has complained about the way it sounds, then I will just let it be. The background noise just bothers me
