Question About Sentence Wrapping in Posts

Curious...How come when people write a lengthly sentence or paragraph, some posts wrap around nicely and others I have to scroll to the far right just to read the end of their sentences?

If someone posts an extremely long Link (URL) it will stretch the entire thread out, thus making all posts in that thread not wrap properly
