Post count error

Post count error

My post count went down from 9,248 to 9,222. Can anyone fix this problem? Thanks!

Well that may be the database that had a problem.But mines is fine with no lose.

Cape, did you notice any specific posts missing? If you don't know of any specific posts missing, perhaps it's just an error.

Post counts more often than not get in the way of good conversation so the short answer is no. The staff has been dorected to delete meaningless posts in an effort to keep threads in order. While I don't know if this is the case here it's one possibility. Either way there's no known issue with the board itself so I think we'll just chalk it up to one of those things we get over. :-)

Some of my posts in some of the game threads appear to be missing. Also, the number of pages in my total number of posts has gone down from 448 to 446. That's the problem that I have noticed.

In my recent posts today and yesterday, I didn't post any useless or off topic posts, so I think it may be an error (see the reasons I told Kelly above). Maybe you can now have a better idea to fix the potential problem. Thanks for the help from you, Kelly, and Luis!
