Help for an issue

#1 Postby Mezocyclone » Tue Oct 10, 2006 7:55 am

This is a delicate situation and I hope it is not received in a negative light.. I really need to know the source and how to create a fix... If this site is as benovolent as it has been proclaimed to be, you should jump at an opportunity to offer some assistance.

We have recently googled our site and as a result, we have drawn a number of unlikely characters in both screen names and content that happen to be explicit in nature. I won't include any key words, out of respect for your successes here on S2K, but rest assured that the moral intent of what we are creating is not being respected from whatever is causing this.

It saddenes me to see these issues continue to manifest within our memberlist as I know that our members are intent on discussing our weather.

Are there any thoughts that you might be able to share about such things. This is certainly not the message that we wish to project as we build our world, and come online with valid global information on atmospheric conditions..

I am reaching out to ya'll for any sort of insight,,

Thanks for any thoughts,,,

Unfortunately the trolls don't care who they SPAM . The staff here works very hard to delete these as quickly when they appear on S2K. There's not a lot that you can do to stop them from registering you just have to take out the trash.

That is what I thought as I attempt to deliver this message to our small staff.. My power supply went kaputz for almost a week and when I returned it was a job to decipher the good from the bad.. So I will take your knowledgable advice and continue on this path that I have chosen...

Thankyou, Dolphin... cya soon... :rarrow:
