WPAC: 92W INVEST, east of Taiwan

Doesn't look that bad, the third WPac invest in quick succession.

Excellent! Bring it on. Its so hot here in HK right now, am sure the conditions are right for a system!

I wouldn't be all that surprised if we do get something from this system, if only because this slowness in the basin can't carry on for much longer!

Airports in the region are reporting a pressure of around 1006 to 1008 hPa and winds in the region of 15 knots.

I've been watching this one all day wondering when they were finally going to call it an invest. It went over Okinawa, last night - NASTY storm with lots of lightning and rain. Assuming it has somewhere to go, this could be the one we've been waiting on. Or maybe I should shut up and not jinx it... :wink:

92W is east of Taiwan, although that blob over Luzon is interesting.

Just noticed that one flaring up, too, Chacor...Looks like an interesting weekend to storm watch in the West Pac! 8-)

Looks like the Atlantic might have another Invest to watch, as well...95L has just been posted on the NRL's site.
