In a few days anyway, then it'll be back in 2016 unless that season is extremely slow.

Re: ATL: Hurricane DANIELLE - Discussion
Evening all! Been lurking all season as I don't get chatty until a top 3 model shows a Florida Threat. Should be a great 3 weeks of surf for the east coast. Looks like an analog to 95. Luis, Edwardo, and Felix! How did the rest of the Sept Oct season go? May give us an insight to the remainder of the season.
As for Danielle, looks well on her way to Cat 3 by morning!

I am not a meteorologist, and any posts made by me are not official forecasts or to be interpreted as being intelligent. These posts are just my opinions and are probably silly opinions.

Never seen a special advisory for a hurricane not threatening land over 10 mph of wind.

supercane wrote:Agree with you Brent that there was no pressing need for the special advisory for a storm not threatening land just to increase winds by 10kt and to declare it a major Cat 3 hurricane.
Hope it wasn't issued because they think she might go farther wnw or nw before curving east.
