I think the eye is still wobbling in the CDO for the past could frames, and what a CDO it is.

Not sure, but there has certainly been a northward motion over the last few frames.

NHC is still calling for westward movement for the next 24-36 hours, and data points have measured constant westward "wobbling" (as they're calling it) for the last 3.5 hours. How quickly can a storm of this size get up & turn as sharply and abruptly as she's been forecast to turn?

It probably just depends on how fast that trough swings through.

If Danielle stalls and churns in the same general location she may not be able to intensify for more than another day. The overall structure looks perfect for a go at cat 5 other than that. The outflow near Bermuda is beginning to get deformed by the SW flow from the trough so thats good to see. When she gets ready to leave she can take Earl with her. Wouldn't it be great if we could get all the September storms to chase each other out to sea!

She will start to feel the SW tomorrow morning, right now it is the weakness in the subtropical ridge that is slowing her down.

This is what a hurricane season is about, tracking a beautiful and strong hurricane in open ocean. Did someone said the season was dead? :)

Danielle looking back to her best after a brief period earlier on where the eye didn;t look quite so hot, but it really is a stunning hurricane again right now, beastly category-4!!

I would say 125kts imo, it's getting better-looking by the minute.

Are there more recon flights scheduled? Now that Bermuda is under a tropical storm watch I would imagine there would be.

Yeah could well justify the 125kts, so much for this one never getting strong and organised like a few people believed in the early days!
