Looks like the set-up aloft in the WPAC is finally starting to shift, I know there is finally a slow shift in the MJO current pattern occuring now so things maybe about to get interested.

Where is this one located? I noticed cloud convection at the middle of South China Sea, but I'm not sure whether that one is a disturbance. :-?

The U.S. Navy's Naval Research Laboratory has a page for tropical cyclone satellite images (it's where most of the images on s2k you see come from).
