On radar it almost appears as if the inflow is now setting up for a new low forming off NE Florida coast...it is no longer aligned due N as it was all day yesterday. It may be an illusion but sure looks like the models may have been on to something with the formation of a second low off of FL EC.

S.W. Florida coastal folks are realizing that what they say is true about not relying on the "center point" of a storm. Feels like a Hurricane out here this morning. Strong bands keep coming in -high winds now

Too much of a game of russian roulette...a hurricane knocking on your door could do alot more harm than provide rain and cooler temps. A/C is the way to stay cool in both our parts of the country from now until the autumn. Losing your power for days or longer due to even 70 mph winds won't make the post-storm heat with 78 deg dewpoint any more bearable than lovely a/c if you have power!

You're not disappointed that we aren't gonna get any rain from this? I was really hoping for some rain and cooler temps from this system.

All of the models, except for the UKMET and NOGAPS, now predict landfall in the Big Bend region of Florida. Anyone think the NHC might nudge the next track east in response?

My barometer confirmed that visual not too long ago but now it is rising quickly....almost like a small vortex passed by.

Tropical Storm Debby looks horrible this morning. Does anyone think that this storm will just go proof and die out completely?

That last loop looks like the flood gates of dry air finally opened up and took Debby down....seriously wondering if the inflow is not feeding that convective cluster off NE FL coast. Almost seems like when the previous poster mentioned pressures dropping like a rock over Amelia Island then rising...was the ghost of Debby leaving the gulf and possessing this new entity...lol...certainly looks finished on that last WV image though...IMHO.

Being that the latest NHC discussion mentioned possible tracks to the: N, NE, W,NW - very possible she moves in one direction not mentioned - South? (no steering currents)

South Gulf -Yucatan moisture building -riding north. Also building on S.W. quad of center circulation
Its like a ghost storm
