Looks like Beryl has just about completed her cyclonic loop.. looks to be starting to move towards the SW again...

Also, it looks like it's cutting off the large outflow boundary (I think that's what it's called) to the right. Shouldn't be long before it transitions.

For those who dont know. the nasa site offers 15 min updates vs 45... and sometimes rapid fire mode. creates a much smoother loop and better detail. convection wrapping almost all the way around now. thought limited to very near the center. still a sign things are transitioning.

But remember that we don't want a low stacked all the way up to 200-300mb. That indicates a subtropical system. We want the ULL to move away and/or weaken and an upper level anticyclone to develop over it. Otherwise it will never get good outflow and will never transition to purely tropical.
