NHC 2PM has it moving west, Mark. I think those curved bands to the NW are giving the illusion it's moving WNW. Still looks to me like LLC is moving due west (or a tad north of it) since a few hours ago.

The depression has managed to develop banding features and organize some this afternoon. I think we'll see a 40-45 mph Tropical Storm Ernesto at 5PM EDT.

Banding is giving the illusion of moving NW. Still on a W to very slight WNW heading.

Recon appears to be finding a lower pressure then what the NHC is saying TD5 currently has. NHC is saying 1008mb while Recon is finding a Pressure between 1002 and 1003 mb.
