yeah it had cleary opened up interacting with the islands.. however nothing inhibiting it from organizing again.

Hey there Sandy! Yeah where the trough is curved the most, lol. Not a big deal. As Aric said it's clearly reorganizing. Can't see much to stop it.

coordinates..how about nowhere but all over.. lol

its in the process of reorganizing and though there is a general area of wind shift its not technically definable.. give it another 6 to 8 hours

Unless it's coincidence the shape looks like it is starting to curl-up quickly.

Little by little the shear is letting up, if you watch the high clouds north of Haiti, they stopped moving east and are just sort of sitting in the same place at the end of the IR loop.

You are a really good observer. It's the last thing we can do that the models can't do yet. t takes waaaaaay too long for them to ingest that data and act on it. :)

Same llcc just not over land now estimate its about 19.77N 68.14W.

Are there any surface obs we can find from the Dominican Republic? There appears to be a curl forming on satellite about 19.5/70.0 and the storms over SW DR are developing in a northeastward direction which could be reestablishment of westerly inflow.

Looks like weak COC with Bertha this morning is north of the coast of northern Haiti, close to the Turks and Caicos Islands, recon on its way this morning.
