Yes we must monitor this closely. As you know Gusty even a tropical wave can cause serious flooding and problems in our islands.

Absolutely, you're right i know that you monitor it serioulsy that's a very good thing. This situation could be problematic if 90L improves it organization and maintains this westerly course. Note that juicy convection is clearly exploiding in the southern part. Hope that authorities is taking this feature seriously...

This thing is a tropical storm in my eyes. Looks to be getting a pretty good center too. Just wondering what is taking the NHC so long.

Except for the dry air to its north, 90L looks to be in a favorable environment to continue to get better organized. Mid level circulation is well established. Agree with NHC that a TD/TS could be or has formed.......MGC

This sort of occurrence is not unheard of. On today's date 234 years ago, the infamous Huracán San Calixto was moving through this general area.

On the latest weather forecast, our Pro Mets of Guadeloupe does not seem too worried saying that this wave could developp and be a probable TD...

There appeared to be an eye earlier so I'm wondering if this may be stronger than just a depression when the plane gets out there.

not really, they said TD or TS conditions to be expected. They're like us, waiting for the Hunter's mission

I don't read that on the latest 12 AM weather forecast about TS conditions expected... but I tkink that reconnaissance will help them.

Recon having issues for sure. May need to send a new plane in, and that could take a bit of time.

Wow!! Skipped the depression category! It's possible Bermuda might have to watch out for this one too later in the week. Not a forecast.

Is there any way that the recon data changes the forecast path here or is that front or trough just too strong to change it's path?
