Recon hasn't entered the system yet. No useful data to report, but when it comes in, I will be keeping the first post updated.

If they keep moving things to the east, it looks like South Florida may have dodged another bullet. Is that likely?

How the so called model runs are favoring and the pattern it looks like the ridge could build back in, I say 50-50 of it getting to the gom, we just have to see how it plays out.

I see what you see, Aric. Convection building on the north side for the first time today, indicating at least some drop-off of shear. And the convection is building over the center again. RECON should find a strengthening storm.

It seems to me that most of the time recon finds a stronger system than what was previously thought but I don't have any data to back that up.
