I'm here in Gainesville, and right now it's nothing but rain, rain, rain. Be careful on the roads. People in this town tend to underestimate these storms.

I know, here in Jax, we have the same kind of people....will take it easy....stay safe all.

IMO, they wont bump up winds without RECON to confirm...that is if they can get into the storm before landfall.

BTW- that is not an eye in the true definition...more like an eye like feature.

Heavy rain continuing here as my gauge is now already at 2 inches for the day and counting.

Next advisory should be out now from NHC.

They should be able to get there before landfall, they are scheduled to take off around 11:45am CDT.

That's a break in the convection. The CoC is NE of that area IMO.

Knowing that it could effect S. FL in the afternoon hours could lead to an bumpy afternoon here in S. FL.

Going by motion on radar, I can't see Andrea making landfall within the cone. Should landfall a little bit south of the cone if it keeps moving ENE.

It certainly feels tropical here in Fort Lauderdale - the current DP at FXE is 78 (about how the bathroom feels after you take a hot shower), but that's what happens when a tropical system is nearby...

Ugh - I'm moving to Montana (lol)...
