ATCF Best Track: peak intensity 50 kt, pressure 999mb, at 0600Z (2 hours after landfall) so it may have been stronger at 0430Z when it made landfall. Also genesis adjusted to 1200Z yesterday, about 9 hours before the first advisory.

Definately not surprised given the radar presentation at landfall.
