It looks good to me. Jax radar (rather Southeast radar) shows a rather healthy eyewall, which isn't good.

Here in SAV, I'm just getting the first outer squalls related to Hermine with some thunder/lightning, very gusty winds, and torrential rains.

use Tallahassee radar. Always try and use closest radar. You can see the west side does not look as good.

Weather here is Tallahassee is starting to deteriorate . It has been raining that "tropical mist" all day but no real showers other than the first band earlier in the afternoon. Now the rain is starting to pick up and the wind is starting. Been watching all these beautiful huge trees all around my house start to sway! We have about 9K customers on Tallahassee power down right now looking at the live updates from the website. Most are in the North East (KIllearn Areas.)

Rainfall will not be the issue. Nothing crazy.

It was never very robust eyewall in the first place, imo. Very impressive for a Category 1 hurricane though.

Yea, it didn't intensify near as much as I thought it would in the last couple of hours, but that of course is a good thing. Might be able to squeeze another 5 mph out of it before it comes ashore in the next couple of hours.........

The big band slowly creeping toward the nature coast/tampa bay is taking it's time getting...meaning when it does it's gonna stay awhile. our winds outside of rain are stronger than they were during that last big band so this could get ugly. Blue flash potential with power outages are likely coming from Citrus to Pinellas if this holds together and eases on in. throw in some extreme rainfall rates too.

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Friday evening...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of Florida and Georgia... including the following
areas... in Florida... Calhoun... coastal Bay... coastal Dixie...
coastal Franklin... coastal Gulf... coastal Jefferson... coastal
Taylor... coastal Wakulla... Gadsden... inland Bay... inland
Dixie... inland Franklin... inland Gulf... inland Jefferson...
inland Taylor... inland Wakulla... Lafayette... Leon... Liberty
and Madison. In Georgia... Ben Hill... Berrien... Brooks...
Colquitt... Cook... Decatur... Grady... Irwin... Lanier... Lowndes...
Mitchell... Thomas... Tift... Turner and Worth.

* Through Friday evening

* periods of heavy rain are likely tonight through early Friday.
Widespread rain amounts of 4 to 8 inches are expected... with
isolated amounts up to 10 to 15 inches possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

Monitor forecasts and be prepared to take action should flash
flood warnings be issued or rising water is observed. Park
vehicles on higher ground ahead of time... and take action now to
prepare vulnerable buildings against flooding.

I am fairly confident intensification has stopped.

Went through Issac and the same thing happened in regards to intensification up until landfall.

Edit: Just an opinion

Having gone through Hurricane Ike in 2008, all I can say is that I feel really good that I'm not in the path of that.

There were people showering at work for 3 weeks after Ike.
