I know this i kind of silly but I love my salt tank full of Clown fish bonded with their Anemone and corals. If the power goes out you have little time to save your tank. Go to Petco or Pets Mart and buy the battery operated pump to aerate the water when the power is out. Stock up on the batteries required and hope for the best. I know pets are not as important as lives but a few simple pointers will help those who have not experienced this kind of power outage will help them I hope.

Oh and unbelievable surf season for the TX Gulf coast by far!

Winds at Pilot town near the mouth of the MS are out of the north at 40-45 kts. It's east of there. 85 mph is probably generous, not sure it's still a hurricane. NHC will never downgrade a hurricane approaching the coast, as people may not heed the warnings. Not a bad thing, necessarily, as far as the general public are concerned.
