Probably hype headache and expense for nothing.


Maybe he/she should answer for themselves? I saw very little hype other than encouraging people to get away from the coasts. I really dislike the word hype because it has no consistent meaning. It either meets expectations or is hyped, seemingly no in between.

Winds will pick up on the MS and AL coast around 10pm according to local news

Center is still 100 miles offshore

There's been a huge disconnect this year with surface obs and NHC winds especially with Irma in Florida.

Looking at the radar looks like about another hour before we start feeling the eye here in Biloxi all quiet were I am at about 1/4 mile from the beach.Sitting on the porch looking N.
