All of the buildings around Jeff were collapsing, and then his feed went dead.

Does anyone know what happened? Is he ok?

Hopefully someone on here has Jeff's number and can text him to find out.

Looks like the Blue Building is gone now too.. if you look on radar .. he was under the little red area in the western eyewall. That'll knock down and rip up a lot of sturdy buildings unfortunately.

The wobble that made Harvey's eyewall hit Rockport directly provided the hurricane with more time over water and slow down before landfall. Sure CC has avoided the eyewall, and that's good, but still, I feel for Jeff, ICyclone (Josh) and the many other storm chasers out there.

I will be first to admit and eat my words. I thought when it was barely a 3 and looking ragged it would struggle and come apart once moving into land. Here we are now 6 hours later with a major Cat 4 that's going to be devastating and not just for hours but a couple of days.
