Josh is about to get into another eye. What is this, like No. 355 for him?

Strongest hurricane to make landfall in LA since Camille.
Actually, Camille technically did not make landfall in LA, since its centre remained just offshore while near the MS River Delta.
Laura is therefore tied with the 1856 Last Island hurricane as the strongest on record in Louisiance since records began in 1851:

Huh, for some reason Wikipedia lists Camille as a LA landfall. In that case, 1856 Last Island would be the strongest before Laura.

My posts are my own personal opinion, defer to the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and other NOAA products for decision making during hurricane season.
Re: ATL: LAURA - Hurricane - Discussion
This might be a dumb question, but is Reed driving one of the SRV Dominators, or the hail battered Subaru in his timeline pics? Both are named "Dominator".

WX Channel: the eye is clobbering Lake Charles where we have lots of cameras, so we'd like to show you...Beaumont, and TORCON, all the graphics, and as many non-eye things as possible.

Based on all available data, this is likely Michael 2.0 and a good candidate to be upgraded to 140 knots post-season:

RailDawg! If you're back there, flash your headlights at Timmer in front of the Wendy's so we know you're OK!
