Winter 2020-2021 :cold:

All observations are in Tecumseh, OK unless otherwise noted.

Winter posts are focused mainly for Oklahoma & Texas.

Take any of my forecasts with a grain of salt, refer to the NWS, SPC, and NHC for official information

Never say Never with weather! Because ANYTHING is possible!

Looks like an EWRC/eyewall meld. You can see a ring in the center of the big eyewall that seems to be the earlier eyewall, which produced the tiny pinhole-like eye seen earlier.

I am only a meteorology enthusiast who knows a decent amount about tropical cyclones. Look to the professional mets, the NHC, or your local weather office for the best information.

In terms of TC intensity, the only true beasts listed in these two quotes are Haiyan and Dorian lol. The rest are aight compared to the true WPAC and EPAC power. But I don't wanna go further off topic :D :D

I am by no means a professional. DO NOT look at my forecasts for official information or make decisions based on what I post.

Goal: to become a registered expert over tropical and subtropical cyclones.

Perhaps the appearance on IR is from dry air and not eyewall dynamics.

Edit: okay it’s probably an EWRC

Right, I guess I was wrong in extrapolating because at the end of the 90 hour run it looks like it's preparing to go east, EPS 18Z data is coming soon, I'll plot to see the ensembles and control run.

You are misunderstanding something, of course I knew you are paying, I was just asking what is the forecast hour of that timestamp since your screenshot doesn't show it.
