The 10th item in the "Other Data & Information" section on my page here has information about how to determine how many dropsondes go into the GFS:

I don't know what the cutoff is for data. It is the total number of dropsondes added, so you have to see what other sondes there are from other missions too. Certainly there would be some in it from G-IV mission, just don't know how many.
