impressive blow up...if not for the shear and the inability to stack this would have been a major IMO...the waters were 90F in that area. I watched Humberto roll in like this and went cat 1 in no time right off the coast. time for a beer and watch weather channel...see if Nicholas can blow over a dumpster... :eek: :eek:

Radar doesn't look too menacing its barely raining over in Victoria so if this can just get inland and dry up..

Its starting to gust here in Vic now. Just got back from Indianola, just across the way from Port O'Connor and the water had not gotten too high yet, but it is low tide right now.

I think most of the rain will bypass Victoria to the east. Welcome to the forum.

Thank you. Really getting some good gusts right now, but it has been dry. Looks like it will stay that way.

I am thinking Beaumont should jackpot on the rain given where Nicholas will give up the ghost. Nice band setting up east of the center,

Looks like the pressure for Nicholas is much lower now according to Recon.

Pressure is falling rapidly too.

Radar also seems to support a bit stronger storm. I'd put it at 60 kt.
