Ensembles and models basically just dropped this. Nothing from GFS, ECMWF and CMC.

It'd be a massive fail for the models especially for the GFS if it doesn't develop. Its upcoming upgrade isn't helping it either, still plaguing with lots of false positives.

12Z Euro develops it - in the Bay of Bengal in 10 days. GFS develops it before it moves into southern Vietnam in 7 days. Not likely to be anything significant. Upper-level environment is not very favorable in the SCS.
