This storms just further confirms DeepMind's FNV3's overintensity but it's really good for forecast track though it nailed a landfall along with the GFS, while Euro AI is really good for TC genesis and it continues to form the next storm by 3rd week of November.

Re: WPAC: FUNG-WONG - Tropical Storm - Discussion
The storm surge was very destructive compared to wind damage. Some villages/cities will be isolated for quite a while due to infrastructure destruction North of Baler, especially the coastal highway which was basically destroyed,

Fung-wong appears to have completely decoupled at present. Looks completely ET, and no squalls. All strong wind down the Taiwan Strait is due to a cold front that moved offshore China.

It's not really tropical, though. We identified it as having transitioned to ET over 24 hours ago. It merged with a frontal system that moved across the Taiwan Strait, but it hasn't been officially been reclassified. Nothing tropical about it today.

Here's a sat pic of that "tropical storm" that struck southern Taiwan about 12 hrs ago. I don't see how JMA and JTWC say it's a TS and will remain tropical for another 1-2 days.
