I take it that this is going to be a coastal event only?

Those forecast conditions don't actually meet the criteria for a blizzard.

There were not Blizzard Warnings here in 1993 when the Blizzard of 1993 hit. Visibilities down to near zero and winds up to 50 mph, so that's defintely not a Blizzard, just a miserable day.

Corpus Christi under winter weather advisory - wow ! I lived there and spent some time in Padre Island in summer 2002. Very nice place. Any mention of snow in that area of SE Texas is certainly very rare ! Enjoy and Merry Christmas
