Seems like storms lately in DFW have gotten a late start(dusk) minimizing the severe impact as they blow through. Not that I want severe, destructive storms, just something I have noticed over the last couple years. Remember the April tornados a few years ago? Those were late morning/early afternoon. I cant remember a round of severe weather that early in the day in a long time. Maybe I have forgotten, that's all. What prompted this post is leaving work and returning home a couple hours later only to see the storms to our northwest not having moved much. And still on tv the models show a huge round of rain coming in later, then later, then later. Oh well, we shall see. Hope this makes sense.

Storms aren’t really moving toward DFW from the north as predicted. And the sw moving from the south isn’t helping either.

I personally believe as we work deeper into May, more favorable conditions for heavy rains will be found in central and southeast TX.

Well just all of a sudden, the wind went nuts and it is dark clouds with green tint in Celeste. Wind is BAD!!!
