Perhaps more of a line by the time NTX gets hit. Less Tornado, more hail wind threat.

Seems like storms lately in DFW have gotten a late start(dusk) minimizing the severe impact as they blow through. Not that I want severe, destructive storms, just something I have noticed over the last couple years. Remember the April tornados a few years ago? Those were late morning/early afternoon. I cant remember a round of severe weather that early in the day in a long time. Maybe I have forgotten, that's all. What prompted this post is leaving work and returning home a couple hours later only to see the storms to our northwest not having moved much. And still on tv the models show a huge round of rain coming in later, then later, then later. Oh well, we shall see. :D Hope this makes sense.

Storms aren’t really moving toward DFW from the north as predicted. And the sw moving from the south isn’t helping either.

Weird.

I personally believe as we work deeper into May, more favorable conditions for heavy rains will be found in central and southeast TX.
