Yeah I don't see it verifying either and that's why... 1936 was such an unusual time. But it'll still be by far the worst heat here since 2011/2012
That doesn't make it feel much better. At the beginning of the month I didn't think DFW would come close to 1980's July 92F average record but here we are almost 91F.
Oh it's plenty enough hot as it is believe me


Also another point some mets have brought it up here... The fact that it's still early for this here our climo and records are actually worse in August... And that's when 1936 peaked too. Basically no optimism of a pattern change anytime soon
