The year of the Nonsoons?
WELL....they keep forecasting afternoon showers and thunderstorms and I have YET to see a single CLOUD in the sky.....is this gonna be the "Year of the Nonsoons?" God let's HOPE NOT
One way or another, Az is gonna *dry up and blow away* ~or~ *burn to the ground*....either way, it's SAD

Well, first off, the monsoon has never failed to arrive-it has been quite pathetic at times (and this could be one of them) but the actual pattern shift that is the monsoon has always arrived-the thunderstorms are just incidental to it and the strength of the monsoon and the pattern it assumes dictates that-the thunderstorms are not monsoons-just thunderstorms. Secondly, we had showers yesterday and have a boomer to the north today so there is some activity though it's not monsoonal in origin yet.
