Perhaps a comma head developing meaning tornadic potential. Don't be surprised if that indeed does happen. That's the reason for the tornado watch extension until later Wednesday morning for southeast Texas.
I'm definitely concerned for wind damage also with gusts over 70 mph, possibly over hurricane force.
Meanwhile severe weather is possible near Jackson, Mississippi in the next few hours with hail, wind, and possible tornadoes.

A glorified tent? ... not good ...
BTW, SG ... that small cell west of Beaumont has an associated MESO! ...

That's a bow segment. The northern end of the bow segment, however, will be capable of producing a tornado or two as rotation commences in the next 30 minutes or so ...
WXBUFFJIM wrote:ust issued a PDS tornado watch for eastern central Louisiana and extending into central Mississippi. Jackson keep an eye on this dangerous line of storms. Could see a strong tornado or two with this.
Not surprised at all given all the parameters that are coming together as outlined on my "This is just PLAIN NASTY!" thread ...
