These feeder bands have been playing havoc with the highest gusts of the night being recorded in the last hour at 53 mph with consistent gusts in 40-45 range. Starting to pick up some s-sw components now. Seems that flooding along tidal Potomac is much worse than predicted with Alexandria having 1-2' depths up to 3 blocks off the river already. The heavy rains are now well west of metro area but when you are in one of these bands it is really windy, I ahve picked up only .20" rain in last 3 hours to bring total to 2.55.
