12 midnight College Pk, Md Obs

These feeder bands have been playing havoc with the highest gusts of the night being recorded in the last hour at 53 mph with consistent gusts in 40-45 range. Starting to pick up some s-sw components now. Seems that flooding along tidal Potomac is much worse than predicted with Alexandria having 1-2' depths up to 3 blocks off the river already. The heavy rains are now well west of metro area but when you are in one of these bands it is really windy, I ahve picked up only .20" rain in last 3 hours to bring total to 2.55.
