Does anyone remember a year with this atypical characteristic?

Just guessing actually; something to research after the storm. Not climatologically out of bounds, I bet.
I know I've shuddered to see some year's historical tracks. A few weeks after the killer Labor Day Storm, another strong storm went though the Upper Keys. In fact, seems that really bad storms often happen same year that three storms cross the state or three majors form and hit the US somewhere.
