FWIW, the GFS dissipates TD1 in the Gulf south of Appalachicola, Fla and brings the remnants in over N fla--as a broad rainmaker

Remember not to rely much on the GFS for intensity forecast. It has so far been one of the weakest of all models. But it was the first to pick up on the disturbance, so it did something right for once.

It's still there just weaker. Here is the same map, with it still there.
This is the MSLP 10M wind map.

GFS does deserve a little credit for it's speed if the movement pans out. It's been blasting the system north for an earlier landfall than many of us guessed. Looks like it wants the 72-78 hour timeframe or Saturday afternoon. If that verifies, it did a nice job with anticipating forward speed.

OK-thanks--I was looking at the wrong map apparently  but it said it was the SLP map so I thought it dissipated it.

Is a slight trend East though--now saying Pensacola area vs Mobile--VERY slight east trend and as only a TS, basically same results.
