Remember not to rely much on the GFS for intensity forecast. It has so far been one of the weakest of all models. But it was the first to pick up on the disturbance, so it did something right for once.
GFS does deserve a little credit for it's speed if the movement pans out. It's been blasting the system north for an earlier landfall than many of us guessed. Looks like it wants the 72-78 hour timeframe or Saturday afternoon. If that verifies, it did a nice job with anticipating forward speed.
