In my opinion the odds are pretty good that
we will have some sort of tropical feature in
the SW GOM moving northward this upcoming
week. I don't care if some of the models have
backed off on development. The ingredients
will be there.

Post a photo of this recipe. Here's an old stand by for a nice bear dinner. I found this in my hand written recipe saves but I've also found something like it on the net so I'm not the only one who uses it. If ya like bear...give it a try. — Apr 7, 2004

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 onions, cut into sliced rings
1 (10.75 ounces) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

I agree with you Storm. SST's are high especially in the BOC and the conditions are favorable. God, knows we need the rain here....BEAR?? Old NWS statement= means bears watching....Personally it was funny the first time but after 5 million posts on it, its alittle old.....

Yeah, Rock/Storm - I agree, the bear thing is beginning to wear a little thin. It had its hayday, but now may be a good time for us to let it go.
Speaking of SSTs, at the opposite end of the Gulf, Ivan sure stirred things up and cooled the temps in the NE. But air temps have been consistently high since then and I'm wondering if they may begin to creep back up?
