EXPERIMENTAL HURRICANE FORECAST
TROPICAL STORM OTTO
NJN WEATHER CENTER
955 AM WED DECEMBER 1ST 2004
Tropical Storm Otto has sent the hurricane season into OT for the 2nd year in a row. Otto looked pretty impressive yesterday but may already be showing signs of weakening.
At 10 am.. Otto's winds were down to 45 mph. Yesterday there could have been some speculation that Otto would become a minimal cane before weakening but I don't believe this will occur. Waters are marginally favorable.
Otto should continue to meander and slowly die off. He should also be the final named storm of the 2004 season.
Experimental 5 day forecast for Otto:
