question for the board
Just a quick question for everyone here
I am wonderuing if you all wait until I post the links to the forecasts, or if you just visit the site anyways. The reason that I ask is that due to RAINEX commitments later in the year, I will not always be able to post the links to the forecasts (either because I have a briefing to give, if I am not the forecaster on duty and am fast asleep, or if I am flying into a hurricane). I'll try my best to post the links, but just alerting everyone that it is not always possible, so I am wondering how many wait until I post, or just visit on your own

another reason I say this is that the storm updates (for the non meteorologists and in non-technical format... similar to a public advisory from NHC, but a totally different format) are issued far more frequently, like just now, but I dont post the link for each and every one of those (these tend to be more popular for those visiting the site who are not mets or weather enthusiasts)

Hi Derek, long time....(last cane season)haha.....I have your site still bookmarked and usually check it out along with everything else available to me. Specially since I still haven't figured out how to read these maps and all, let alone figured out a trough from a sheer.I just leave the work up to you guys who are in the know.

a heads up to those who wait again
there will be many instances starting in mid Aug where no link is going to be posted for the reasons I stated above. Also, I am not sure yet, but there may be a format change to the forecasts as well (I have not given this much thought, depends upon how these will be used later on for purposes totally unrelated to S2K)
