I am becoming increasingly concerned that we are about to enter a portion of the season where we may get quite active. Yes, I know I am a wishy-washy poster. I can agree with that. Just last night I was saying, "UL Winds are going to end the season quite early". Well, today, now that I have cleared my head a bit I am now seeing what forecasters around the world have been worried about for so long. *&*( is about to hit the fan ladies and gentlemen. We have monsoon troughiness down in the western atlantic stretching from FL to north of Puerto Rico and at any time one of these elongated areas of 850 mb vorticity could break off and spin up into a TC at any time. Why? Ridging dominates from Texas all the way to Bermuda folks. Wxman57 was right. I am becoming increasingly concerned about a NW Carribean threat come tomorrow night and into Sunday morning. Get prepared folks. The real meat of the season is coming. 2005 like conditions MAY be setting in for the long haul for areas west of 60W. I am VERY concerned. I am seeing the most surface area of low level convergence and upper level divergence across the west atlantic that I have seen all year. This is getting ready to get VERY interesting. BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION IF NECESSARY.
