GFS looks like another slight adjustment to the north thus far.

dum dum question on the graphics on the GFS above. The red and pink colors. Is that pressure gradients or wind speeds?

Also looks to be slower over the state? And stronger as well? (I can't read the graphics very well, so I am asking.)

From glancing at what is out so far, little stronger yes. Similar speed as previous.

128.1 hm/h = about 80 mph

153.6 km/h = about 95 mph

that's pretty gusty!

those readings on Cancun are in kilometers/hr, no doubt wind is still strong though. On another note, if Wilma doesn't pull up fast she is going to spend a significant amount of time over the Yucatan and be gutted. Good for FL - really really bad for the Yucatan. Cozumel and Cancun may see sustained hurricane force winds for 24+ hours

Looking at the WV loop, the western side looks compressed. Maybe more north motion coming?

IMO just an illusion as the radar cannot penetrate those torrential rains.

No, the eyewall near Cancun is noticeably weaker than the part further. That's not attenuation. Plus the eyewall isn't nice and circular - it zigzags - and there's some rainshowers in the eye.

Cozumel now is under the western eyewall, hell should be breaking loose in that place.

First when I saw the image I though Cozumel had dissapeared.

Yes it did look a little slower to me as well, but the thing I noticed was the stall was as pronounced as before maybe a slow mover into the Gulf.
