I should have. These 3 DVD instances happened at 2 different Blockbusters. The one didn't have 2 movies in stock, so we drove further away for it. That was the night I was all comfy in my robe. I called the one right up the street and asked them if I could just run in fast, they'd remove them and I'd be out the door, even if they weren't from their actual Blockbuster. Sure, come on in. I did change - LOL. But I ran in, said I just called, he had the machine thingy right there, whipped those babies out and I thanked him. Saying you all need to remove these before customers leave the store. He apologized, for the other store. Since they didn't rent them, technically I didn't push it. When they were due back, I forgot and just put them in the slot.
So I'm a whimp, didn't push it. The third time was a while back and took us by surprise. Clerk said they were so new (guards) that they were all having a hard time getting used to them, since older DVD rentals didn't come with them. Felt bad being difficult in that case.
I'm guessing all new DVD's come with them so clerks will become more accustomed to removing them. All I know is, we check now. I had to laugh with Laura and said - it's a good thing you're older now, imagine if this rental was for a slumber party of young girls and I was the only parent home (as in this case). I couldn't have put 8 girls in the car! LOL
Just watch for that.
