Ok, gotta give them some credit where it's due. My Dell Dimension desktop is 2 years and 3 months old. I have had a few problems, but when I've called Dell, the guy was out within a day or two, and most of the problems were actually the same problem... a noisy fan. Because they tried to diagnose the problem over the phone and then send the guy out, I ended up getting all of my fans replaced over a few months, as well as a new motherboard somewhere along the way. The last few days, my flat screen monitor started acting up. It would just go off and I could turn it back on, and it would go off again within 1 - 3 seconds. Rinse, repeat. Well, you can't use a computer like that.
Short on time yesterday afternoon, I knew I didn't have long to call them and get them to send someone out before I had to be somewhere else. I called and 18 hours later, there's a brand new monitor on my doorstep.
I'm beginning to wonder now if I should have recently bought Toshiba laptops.

I have had excellent service with Dell.
