If there was no shear Miami would be getting clobbered right now...but shear is sheilding us.

:Can:

Noel is getting ready to get canned to the NE. Only a matter of time and he's outta here. Just a thought, not a forecast!

I am a subscriber and he does make sense as far as the westward component. The intensfication scenario is also very possible.

TIME WILL TELL...

jeff morrow on TWC said was short term shear may relax a bit and it is possible for it to cause winds to increase even a bit higher than they have been.

this is important to beach front property , this is an erosion threat not much more

this may start moving to NE, the question i have is will it be a drift?

I think the loop is an optical illusion and not actual movement..

Significant pressure falls across SFL the last 6 hours. Pressures have fallen 3-4 mb..

John Hope always followed this in terms of potential impact area.....

When rain bands come in, it gets real nasty here in Miami. Bands keep getting thrown in our direction, but fizzle as they reach the coast due to dry air.

It has gotten stronger last day despite land, as it is a 140 pound wrestler who can mainstain on 1500 calories a day. Frictional effects are pulling it along Cuban coast 'til it gets near 80ºW, where coastline bends, finally freeing it to move North or Northeast. It will be at a buffet table, full of decent outflow, inflow, warm water, could go Cat 2 hurricane, pass within 75 miles East of MIA, worst case, might approach Cat 3, and while eye stays offshore, MIA may get briefly into eye-wall and experience hurricane force winds.
