Anyone see a combined U.S. death toll yet? Five in NY and four in NJ is what I have seen so far.

I know a few surfers that are happy to see TSs coming in Florida. STAY OFF THE BEACH means just that, arrests of those who use up scarce resources because of personal whims might discourage these practices. YES, the storms are fascinating watching them come in right on the beach, but one still refrains from doing so. the St. Mary's and the Suwannee were closed after the late May & June "surprises", I steared clear, though I would love to see the Suwannee at flood stage; the Sante Fe, I've seen, TOO CLOSE.

I'm trying to keep my parents in North Eastern NJ informed-they have no power-when will this start pulling out of that area? Another 24 hours of this? I hate feeling so helpless down here knowing what they are going through up there. My entire family except for me and my 2 boys and husband are in NJ/NY...hating this...
