It's been raining steadily for about 4 hours straight now here in western Lake Worth.

COC should be close to the west end of Grand Bahama Island. Freeport has been reporting S and SSW winds for the past two hours.

Here in Pembroke Pines it is quite gloomy and a bit rainy but nothing that unusual. But I can see it is going to rotate in as the night wears on and throughout the day tomorrow. Looks like the rain chances are higher tomorrow after 2 pm.

Local Met is saying dry air is taking over east side of the circulation. Basically, this event for our area will end fairly quickly.
Rainfall total won't be anywhere near as impressive as earlier suggested.

Anyone want to give an update on what they think is going on with the system right now?

I am thinking that it is now an elongated broad COC, that little LLC that it had earlier today is no where to be found, might see reformation closer to the convection later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Yeah I would agree with that looking at the radar loop.

True, that could present a problem.

Quite clear on this loop where the llc is. That shear lets up one inch this thing is a TD. Be careful tonight.

Rain has passed and a big slot of dry is over us now.
Rain was heavy only briefly.
Apparently only very few areas got over an inch, inland; and might have been enhanced by sea breeze interaction.

Things are very wet here in West Palm with no dry air in sight. More rain bands are on the way in now.

This thing appears to be drifting SSW and it looks like the COC is trying to meet up with some convection. I am no meteorologist but it does not look like it is moving west anymore.

We could use the rain even after the drenching we received earlier this summer. So come on, head towards the WNW just a tad and bring us some rain!
